Selected for Gioielli In Fermento 2020.
stunning design object, “Sempre Piu Bella,” that contains 4 small brooches capturing the beauty of different shades of red wine in the aging process. Each brooch represents a different stage of the aging process, from the youthful and lively purple-red to the soft and dominant orange-red. The colors have been carefully selected based on the 10-year aging stages of the regional barbera grape, resulting in a unique and visually stunning piece. The brooches are held together by a strong magnetic closure, making it easy to switch and wear your favorite color depending on your mood or outfit.

Waste-Free and Low-Carbon Jewelry Production
Our sustainable design pieces are produced using a combination of eco-friendly techniques. Our primary material is Polyamide 12 (PA12), which is used with the Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technique to create our jewelry pieces. This waste-free process has a low carbon footprint in comparison to traditional jewelry production. Unlike traditional methods, we don’t use water, cutting fluids, oils, or dielectrics. Furthermore, energy is only consumed during the machine’s processing of raw materials into part geometry.
PA12 is the ideal material for SLS technique due to its weight and strength. The technique allows for the creation of lightweight components with high strength-to-weight ratios. By using PA12, we can produce hollow structures, honeycomb structures, or structures filled with optimized micro-lattices, which reduces embedded CO2 during the product lifecycle phase.
Coloration
We use natural dyes and spices, such as turmeric, red rose, black tea, coffee, and etc to achieve the colors naturally for our pieces in and around our studio. If natural dyes are not possible, we use textile dyes or acrylic paints for specific effects.
Storage
To maintain the integrity of the product’s color, we recommend storing the item in its box when not in use. Direct sunlight can cause the color to change slightly over time.
Handle and Care
3D printed parts
Our 3D printed parts are made from sintered nylon powder and dyed using a manual process. Due to the inherent variability of this process, the color may vary slightly between products. Sintered nylon is heatproof up to 80℃ degrees, and higher temperatures may significantly alter material properties. Please avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes. Do not wear the jewelry during showering or swimming. To clean, use a slightly damp cloth and handle with care. For darker spots, a mild detergent, such as antibacterial soap, can be used. Use the cloth provided or a neutral-colored cloth, and avoid aggressive detergents or substances such as alcohol, acetone, or bleach.
Magnets
To clean the magnetic parts of the brooch, use a soft, dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Avoid using water or other liquids as they may damage the magnet. If necessary, a small amount of rubbing alcohol can be applied to the cloth to remove stubborn stains or buildup. Gently wipe the magnetic area with the cloth, being careful not to scratch the surface.
